For Camps: Month 1

Table of Contents

As you advance through each month of 5 Radical Minutes, additional content will become available.

Week One

Note: Please read the introductory content to your campers before jumping into these prompts. It will help all know what’s coming, and what amazing things you’re going to accomplish together.

Day 1
Introduction

Introduction

Be sure all campers in your group have heard the introductory content, then reinforce the following points:

  • You’ll hear a prompt and you’ll have a moment to gather your ideas before you begin.
  • If you are the listener first, talk about what you thought of initially when it is your turn to speak. This is not a time to answer your partner or reply to what they said.
  • When you’re speaking, the bell will ring 15 seconds before your time is up, so you’ll be able to finish your sentence.
  • During the final minute, you’ll have time to look at what you have in common. That is the only time that is a conversation.
